Join Us in Giving Athletes from Medlock the Trip of a Lifetime!
This summer, Druid Hills Youth Sports will send multiple teams from our 12U baseball and 10U softball players on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to celebrate the culmination of their recreational sports years! DHYS will celebrate the recreational careers of all these all-star players by sending baseball teams to Cooperstown, NY, or to a Cal Ripkin experience in Myrtle Beach, SC and the current equivalent for softball which will be Melbourne, Florida in 2025. Excitingly, DHYS now has more all-star teams than ever in the history of our park, with 2-4 teams at every age level of both softball and baseball from 6U through 12U!
This epic experience will give our young players the opportunity to compete against other teams from across the country at world class facilities. Players will have a fully immersive experience, befriending other players from across the country and staying with teammates during the week-long tournament. Tournament entry fees and travel and accommodations for the players will be offset by a fundraising campaign to allow every player who is selected to attend.
