DHYS Spring Training Camp

Calling all kids 5 – 10 years old that are playing Spring baseball and softball to our second annual DHYS Spring Training Camp!

With player evaluations coming and a new season on the horizon, this camp serves as the perfect opportunity for your child to get lots of repetitions in a 3-hour spring training style experience to gear up for what’s to come.  This camp will be delivered by both DHYS Devils baseball and softball coaches with the help of older Devils players.

All camp proceeds benefit the DHYS Capstone Fund.  In taking responsibility for their Capstone trips, the older Devils players will act as Assistant Coaches to the adult Devils coaches and share with the younger players the best drills and games that helped them develop into All-Star players at Medlock Park, passing down their love of the game to the next generation.

Campers will be divided into small groups by age and sport.  Baseball and softball skill stations will be set up around the park. Each group will be assigned a Squad Leader (Devils Player) that will help the players move from station to station.  Groups will rotate to a different station every 20-30 minutes.  Stations will focus on hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running. 9U and 10U players will have additional stations for pitching and catching.

Payment can be made in the form of Venmo (@capstone2025DHYS), PayPal ([email protected]), or cash/check.  If using PayPal, please put “Capstone” in the notes.
